Orkumál- Opnað hefur verið fyrir ný köll innan ”Intelligent Energy Europe”
Evrópusambandið hefur sett fram metnaðarfull markmið hvað varðar hreina og örugga orku fyrir Evrópubúa í framtíðinni. Til að ná þessum markmiðum er mikilvægt að ný þekking og ný tækni nái útbreiðslu á markaði. Verkefnið Intelligent Energy Europe er sett á laggirnar til að auka möguleika á því.
Opnað hefur verið fyrir ný köll innan þess til að þróa tækninýjungar í tengslum við endurnýjanlega orku. Verkefnið hefur þrjú meginmarkmið:
- Kynning á orkunýtni og að hvetja til skynsamlegrar nýtingar orku
- Ýta undir notkun nýrra orkugjafa og hvetja til fjölbreytni í orkunotkun
- Stuðla að meiri orkunýtingu í flutningum
